List Surfing is a highly unique traffic generation program that is essentially a hybrid of a manual traffic exchange and a viral list builder.
In short, it’s a potent combination of only the best aspects of each of these types of traffic generation systems. However, List Surfing is so much more.
From social media integration, to immense brand building opportunities, to viral marketing capabilities – List Surfing is truly in a class of its own.
And, in this tutorial, I will show you step by step how you can begin attaining massive results with List Surfing.
Ready? Let’s get started!
Social Media Integration Success
Do You Know How to Talk to People?
If so, you know how to obtain incredible results with List Surfing.
According to many, social media is all the rage in the traffic exchange industry right now.
But, what really is “social media”?
According to Wikipedia,
The term social media refers to the use of web-based and mobile technologies to turn communication into interactive dialogue.
To put it simply for our use, social media is the act of communicating with others online.
Therefore, if you know how to talk to others, you know how to utilize the social media integration in List Surfing to build a massive following across such avenues as Facebook, Twitter, a blog, and so on.
The main idea with social media is that it enables prospective leads, signups, and buyers (the people who you want to sign up for your offers) to begin to know, like, and trust you.
This is crucial to earning money online nowadays because people do business with those they know, like, and trust.
Why does a company like Amazon manage to move so much inventory? People trust them.
Why do some people go to a specialty electronics store to purchase a piece of technology they could be getting cheaper elsewhere? It’s because that electronics store has established trust in the mind of the consumer that they are the most well-versed in electronics.
Why are you more likely to follow the recommendation of a close friend as opposed to a television advertisement? You guessed it: It’s because you know, like, and trust your friend more so than the advertisement.
Now, I’m not saying that you need to become some huge brand, and conquer an entire industry with your awesomeness.
You just have to build your own brand.
You have to get people to know, like, and trust you.
With List Surfing, this is easy.
Building Your Brand with List Surfing
List Surfing has made it incredibly simple to begin getting people to know, like, and trust you in numerous ways.
Let’s start with the profile settings.
The first thing you’re going to want to do is go through and fill out all of the information in the “Profile Settings” page.
I highly recommend filling in as much information as you possibly can because doing so shows other people that you are an established name in the industry.
Having merely one or two social media links, your name, and your profile picture certainly does help, but it also shows that you maybe haven’t been around long enough to have all of your social media profiles set up.
Having these personal profiles set up and openly displayed shows prospective buyers that you are truly in this for the long haul and that you truly care about what you are promoting.
After all, if anyone has any sort of problem with what you are promoting, all of your information is openly displayed so they can contact you with their concerns.
This gives you the opportunity to explain what you are promoting and build up the amount to which the other person knows, likes, and trusts you.
All in all, filling in the profile information shows that you are clearly standing strongly behind the product you are promoting.
Now, although this can hugely affect your success with List Surfing, there is still much more you can do.
I know this post is getting pretty lengthy, but stay with me. The information you’re learning right now can completely transform your business for the better, if implemented properly.
Referring Others to List Surfing
Now, I’m not going to go very in depth with how to refer others to List Surfing.
However, what I will do is explain how to turn your stale, inactive referrals into cash generating and downline exploding machines.
Often times when people sign up for new programs, they do so merely to see what the buzz is all about.
This means that a lot of people will fail to even activate their accounts after they go through the trouble of signing up!
Anyway, as you can see in the picture at the right, a lot of my personal referrals have failed to activate their accounts at the time I’m writing this.
However, if you have a large downline of stale, inactive referrals… Do not fear!
Here is a tactic to turn those referrals into downline building and commissions generating machines!
Simply talk to them.
It’s really that easy.
Offer them some help.
Tell them that, in the event they have any questions whatsoever, you’d be more than happy to help them out.
Doing this shows your referral that you can be trusted, you know what you’re doing, and your recommendation of this program was pure.
Furthermore, it will make people want to join your downlines in other programs because they want your caring and helpful advice whenever they have a problem.
But, how do you maximize the potential value of contacting your referrals?
I’ve developed a simple plan for myself that works like a charm.
First, write up a generic welcome email.
My template looks something like this:
I’m your referrer at **PROGRAM NAME**, and I’d love to help you turn this program into a **SOME SORT OF BENEFIT THAT CAN BE WROUGHT THROUGH PROPER USE OF THE PROGRAM**.
Let me know if this is something that interests you!
- **MY NAME**
P.S. – In case you don’t know who I am, **PERSONAL BIO ALONG WITH LINKS TO MY WEBSITES**.
I’ve already received various responses to this email I’ve sent out, and what’s amazing is that the referrals now look to me to tell them what they should do next to get better use out of List Surfing.
Merely sending this email out gets my referrals to know, like, and trust me.
I can now direct my referrals to other websites with useful training, tips, tricks, and tactics to get better use out of the program.
For example, I could tell my referrals that Adchiever has some brilliant training in the members area that shows you how to get better results with viral list builder programs, such as the one integrated in List Surfing.
I’m helping them and providing them with great content, but at the same time, I’m making money. Amazing, isn’t it?
Inside the members area of Adchiever, there is some outstanding training on how to use viral list builders.
But, what about those people who are not your referrals?
Ah, that’s what makes List Surfing so amazing…
You see, List Surfing has these brilliant profile pages.
The image below depicts the “Comment” section of one of these profile pages, which enables you to do some amazing viral brand building.
Whenever I sign up a new referral at List Surfing, the first thing I try to do is contact them on their profile page. (You can get to their profile page by clicking on their name on the downline page.)
What this does is:
a) As with the personally sent emails, this begins to develop a relationship with the downline member, leading them to begin to know, like, and trust you.
b) Whenever anyone else visits that person’s profile page, your name and comment will show up in the “Comment” section. What this does is begin to create a name for yourself in the List Surfing program as someone who wants to help others. And, of course, this gets others to know, like, and trust you so the next time they are surfing and see one of your sites, they’ll be more likely to act on your offer.
Utilizing Social Chat and Feedback at List Surfing
When you surf at List Surfing, there is a sidebar on the left-hand side of the screen that displays one of two tabs, either “Live Chat” or “Site Comments”.
These two tools can be extremely beneficial in branding yourself.
First, in List Surfing’s live chat, you can begin to converse with other members, thus showing them that you are a real person.
Furthermore, this chatting can begin to cause a relationship to develop between yourself and other surfers… Which, in turn, will end up causing them (if you are a remotely likable person) to begin to know, like, and trust you.
And, as we’ve already established, this is key in getting signups or sales in the Web 2.0 world of real time interaction.
Next, we have the “Site Comments” tab.
Also known as the “Feedback” tab, this area allows you to comment on the specific site you are currently being shown in the surfbar.
This enables you to politely critique or give feedback on whatever site you are currently seeing.
Then, the site owner and others who visit this site while surfing will see your feedback and potentially leave their own.
However, the key here is that you are leaving helpful and encouraging feedback that gets people to, you guessed it, know, like, and trust you.
There’s no easier way to begin a conversation than to leave a nice, warm and fuzzy comment on the site of whoever you want to engage in conversation with.
Plus, those people who see you providing great feedback are apt to see you as someone to look up to (an expert of sorts) which leads them to further trust you and what you are promoting.
And this, in turn, leads to more signups, more sales, and a much better List Surfing experience.
Conclusion (Or is it?)
While I could continue on with this post and show you all the nitty gritty stuff, such as how to add sites, I think 2,000 words is enough to digest in one sitting (at least, in the era of shiny object syndrome, that is).
But, before I let you go, I want to make one thing very clear.
You’ve finished reading this.
But, most people who read this are not going to take any action on anything they just read.
Instead, they’ll put the information into a little remote section of their memory that they’ll never again access or utilize.
Well, it’s your choice.
You can either take action, go build your brand with List Surfing, and create an entire new income stream for yourself. Or…
You can sit there at your computer, continue to be frustrated that you’re not getting any results, and continue to do the same thing that is not bringing you any results.
The ball is in your court.
I suggest you hit it out of the park.
(I know – they’re referring to different sports. But, it sounded good… So I went with it.)
So, now what?
Also, feel free to send the link to this tutorial out to anyone you think may find even a little benefit in reading it.
I personally plan on sending it out to all of my List Surfing referrals so they can begin to generate tons of results.
